4 Bulls Entering Their Final Season With Chicago in 2024-25

The Chicago Bulls will open the 2024-25 NBA season on Oct. 23. While certain players' futures with the franchise are secure, these four Bulls are playing their final season in town.

3. Torrey Craig, PF/SF

The 2024-25 season marks Torrey Craig's second campaign with the Bulls. The former USC Upstate product signed a two-year contract with the franchise in hopes of providing more depth to Chicago's bench.

Despite missing most of December and January due to injury, Craig was a solid presence for the Bulls. The 33-year-old veteran did a bit of everything as he averaged 5.7 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.1 assists while shooting 43.0% from the floor and 39.2% from deep on an average of 19.8 minutes across 53 appearances.

While that's a decent performance for a bench player, it doesn't guarantee Craig a future in Chicago. He's no longer in his prime and could continue to decline as he's set to turn 34 years old in December. He's also on an expiring contract, meaning the Bulls aren't forced to bring him back next summer if they believe he's regressed too much.

And just like other players on one-year deals, Craig could become a popular trade target before the deadline. He's only carrying a $2.8 million salary cap hit this season, per Spotrac, which is more than affordable for championship contenders looking to improve their bench before the playoffs.

Unless he has a career year, it's more likely than not that Craig won't be back with the Bulls in 2024-25.
