2. Kicker

The incumbent kicker for the Bears is Cairo Santos. The 11-year vet has been reliable for Chicago as of late. Kicker is not a position that requires the team's immediate attention to improve.

Tyler Loop (Arizona), Andres Borregales (Miami), Ryan Fitzgerald (Florida State), and Caden Davis (Ole Miss) are the top four prospects at kicker according to PFF.com News.

"For us to finish the game, the season like that, we're a resilient team that has fought throughout every game. At times, it didn't seem like we were in games, but no one stopped fighting. To learn how to win, especially at a tough place like this against a team that plays really hard against us, we play hard against them. It means a lot for the growth of our players."
Cairo Santos, Chicago Bears kicker

Santos had one of his best years for Chicago in 2020, the last time they made the playoffs. He was a perfect 19-19 from within 40 yards. Loop, Borregales, Fitzgerald, and even Davis may not be an upgrade from the Tulane University grad.

The Bears have four picks in the first three rounds of the NFL Draft. Maybe, they look at a kicker on Day 3. That would be silly, as it would benefit Chicago to trust a veteran and not a rookie if the team moved on from Santos.
