The Chicago Bears have been active this offseason. Once Ben Johnson was named the head coach, the Bears made it a priority to improve the trenches on both sides of the ball. They traded for Joe Thuney and Jonah Jackson while signing Drew Dalman and Grady Jarrett in free agency.

According to Spotrac, the Bears have $23 million available in cap space and could still make some additions.

There are a couple of former Bears on the open market that Chicago could bring back for a reunion in 2025. In this article, he'll discuss three former Bears that Chicago could re-sign.

1. Keenan Allen, WR

Last March, the Bears traded a fourth-round pick to the Los Angeles Chargers in exchange for receiver Keenan Allen.

The Bears wanted to make it a priority to surround Caleb Williams with quality pass catchers. In his lone season in the Windy City, Allen finished with 70 catches for 744 receiving yards, and seven touchdowns.

Although he's no longer the same playmaker he was in his prime, Allen is still a solid playmaker. With Ben Johnson now calling the shots offensively, Allen could excel in 2025 and provide Williams with a security blanket.

The 32-year-old has recorded 1,000-plus receiving yards in six seasons with the Chargers. The Bears have D.J. Moore and Rome Odunze as their 1-2 punch in the WR room. Moore has shown the ability to be a No. 1 target and Chicago is looking for a second-year jump by Odunze.

Regardless, the Bears should look into bringing Allen back. Having a bunch of quality pass catchers is a recipe for success in the NFL. Johnson is one of the brightest offensive minds in the league and would find a way to get the most out of Allen.

Chicago doesn't need to break the bank for Allen but a one-year deal might be the way to go.
