2. Nate Davis, Guard

To say that Nate Davis is skating on thin ice with the Chicago Bears might be an understatement. You had en entire fan base up early in the morning celebrating the news on Twitter/X that Davis was on the inactives list as a healthy scratch for the team's blowout win against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London.

When it comes to the fan reaction to news like this, you can't help but be understanding. While it seems rough to celebrate a player who is healthy being listed as inactive, Nate Davis has done anything but his part on the field to justify the price tag of $30 million over three years, a contract he signed in free agency last year.

Especially when it comes to the fact that his job is blocking for Caleb Williams and opening up lanes for a couple of talented running backs, you can understand the fan frustration with Davis.

And it seems like frustration within the Bears' organization is boiling over as well.

It's possible that we will only see Davis as an injury replacement the rest of the way this season before he's cut in the 2025 offseason. Heck, it's possible that he might not even make it to the end of the 2024 season with the Bears. They have alternative options and any player who is a healthy scratch -- especially veterans -- is a candidate to be cut or traded during the season.

Davis has absolutely crushed his personal value since he joined the Chicago Bears and got himself a big payday.
