The future of the Chicago Blackhawks is bright with Bedard.

The reigning NHL Rookie of the Month, Connor Bedard, scored the only point of the game for the Blackhawks, which came on an early goal set up by a beautiful Philipp Kurashev. He wasn’t done adding to his highlight tape there, though. Bedard also had a chance for an assist later with a filthy pass to return the favor to Kurashev that almost resulted in a goal.

Travis Kelce’s favorite player continues to make plays and movements on the ice that are leaving us in shock and awe. When he is on the ice, it is so hard to remember that he is still just 18 years old and still developing.

Speaking of Bedard, he now has the second longest streak of games on the road (8) recording a point at 18 years old or younger, only behind Nathan MacKinnon’s sixteen games in 2013.

We’re running out of things to write about Bedard, honestly. He’s doing things some would not think are possible.

The fact that he is as good as he is only 22 games into his career has to be scary for the league and put pressure on the Chicago Blackhawks to give him everything he needs to take this franchise back to the pinnacle.
