Winners

The Chicago Bears have a few players that can feel good about themselves.

1. Cairo Santos

Cairo Santos, you can argue, has been the best and most consistent player on the Chicago Bears this season. He has been money as a field goal kicker all year long. The Bears franchise had issues in that department before him so it is really nice to see.

In this game against the Panthers, the Bears scored 16 points. 9 of those 16 points came off his foot as he went 3.3 on Field Goals made. His long in the game was 54 yards which is a pretty nice-sized field goal. Hopefully, he can keep kicking like this over time.

2. DJ Moore

As mentioned before, DJ Moore is a former Carolina Panthers WR. He clearly liked being there but it was time for him to get out of that organization. Even with the Bears playing poorly as a unit, Moore has shown the ability to be great. They need more from him all around but he was good in this win.

He made five catches for 58 yards. The quarterback didn’t hit him as often as he should but getting 11.6 yards per reception is exactly how it can be done for some of these gamebreakers like Moore.

It doesn’t matter but he rushed for one yard too. They are looking for more ways to get him comfortable but making him feel good will go a long way.

3. D’Onta Foreman

The Chicago Bears need some help with their running game. Well, they signed D’Onta Foreman for this year in order to help them get some good run action in. There were a couple of people higher on the depth chart but they all got hurt. Now, we are realizing that Foreman can be great.

For one, Foreman made two receptions for 16 yards. Having a guy that can do that is always nice. He also had a great night on the ground as the Bears ran him hard. He took the ball 21 times and got 80 yards out of it. He also scored the only touchdown that the Bears had in this game.

It was an outstanding performance all around as it wouldn’t be possible without the better players stepping up to the plate. Foreman is one of the guys doing that in every game.
