Trade Three

The Chicago Cubs could move an MLB-caliber player for Tyler Glasnow too.

Nick Madrigal is an MLB-caliber player right now and the Tampa Bay Rays would love to have him. He is the perfect player for an analytical team like the Rays to take full advantage of. They would know just how to use a player like him.

Kevin Alcantara is a top-three prospect in the system for the Chicago Cubs and he would love an opportunity. The Cubs might not be able to grant that depending on their outfield situation in 2024.

Kohl Franklin is a good young pitcher near the bottom of their top-30 prospect list. He would love an opportunity to play in the big leagues but he needs a team to land him in a trade. In a move for Tyler Glasnow, that would be smart trading for the Cubs.

Glasnow may or may not be moved. If he is, the Cubs are the perfect candidate for him as they try to stack their pitching for the new year. All of these trades are very interesting and present different ideas for both sides.
