GM Ryan Poles loves the draft as he should. It is the GM’s dream to have tons of draft capital. The more you have, the more young talent will show up at your camp. Poles believes that this is the right way to build a team.

With the Detroit Lions winning on Monday Night Football, they are running away with this division. That is why selling off a piece like Mooney would be genius at this point.

Getting a third-round pick back for anyone is impressive. The debate on whether or not Mooney should or should not have been traded will not end for a while.

A third-rounder can turn into a very good player. Literally anyone in the draft class can be awesome. If the Bears grabbed a return like this for Mooney, it wouldn’t be the worst thing of all time.
