Bears: These 3 risky trade packages send Darnell Mooney to the Chiefs
Hey, guess what? The Chicago Bears are one of the worst teams in the NFL. It is a disgrace to watch them most of the time yet we all keep showing up for more. So, in other words, it’s just another typical season.
Well, Tuesday is very special on the NFL calendar. Yes, it is cool that it is Halloween. There are no spooky games to watch but there are some spooky headlines to follow.
The reason that this is such a special day is the fact that it is trade deadline day in the NFL. Nobody may complete a trade once it passes 3 PM CT on this Halloween Tuesday. Now that is spooky.
The Bears, being one of the worst teams in the league, may be down to move some of their key assets for the future assets. One of those players is Darnell Mooney. He would help any contender get better on offense right away.
The Chicago Bears could ship Darnell Mooney ahead of the trade deadline.
One team that could really use him is Patrick Mahomes’ Kansas City Chiefs. They have Travis Kelce who is a wonderful tight end but there is no number one receiver. A guy like Mooney could really help them out!
Mooney is the number two in Chicago but he’d be the number one WR by far. Kelce is the number one target but Mooney is just a different breed.
He also hasn’t played with an elite starting QB yet. If he went from Fields/Bagent to Mahomes, you’d see a totally different player. It would be absolutely incredible to see a move like this for both sides involved. Mooney would be getting a great team and they’d be adding another very talented player.
These are the three trade packages that might get Kansas City and Chicago to have a deal done before the deadline:
