Winners

There are a couple of Chicago Bears players that mostly did their job.

1. Cole Kmet

One of Tyson Bagent’s big targets this week was Cole Kmet. The Chicago Bears have been needing to use him more for a long time now and he was big in the loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday Night.

Kmet was a standout at Notre Dame and he probably would have been better off being drafted by any other team in the league. Instead, he is with Chicago not being used right most of the time.

In this game, he made 10 receptions and got 79 yards which is a decent total. The number of receptions is what really looks good for him. Hopefully, he continues to get targets.

2. DJ Moore

The Chicago Bears are wasting DJ Moore. It is shocking that they don’t target him more. He only made four receptions in the game but he gained 55 yards with those four receptions.

Averaging 13.8 yards per reception is no joke. If he had more catches, how many more points would the Bears be able to score?

Even though he was underutilized in this game, it was clear that he was incredible and not being used right. His production in the opportunities given made him a winner. When he is involved, big things happen. Outside of these two, nobody should be considered a winner from that game.

Darnell Mooney might have been mentioned alongside DJ Moore and Cole Kmet if they got him the ball more. On the first play of the game, Mooney had a 41-yard reception on a big play. Those 41 yards and one catch would be what he ended with which is pathetic use of a good player.
