The Chicago Bears may consider moving on from Jaylon Johnson too.

Part of being a really bad football team is you might have to trade some good players. All three of these guys on this list are good. That includes Jaylon Johnson who they might be wise to move while he is at his peak value.

Jaylon Johnson was a second-round pick (50th overall) in the 2020 NFL Draft. He has become a very good player since that time. Now, he is someone who might be good to trade to a team that could win with him right now.

Johnson had two interceptions in the Chicago Bears’ most recent win against the Raiders. That is great but they are the first two interceptions since the 2021 season. He needs to be a bit better than that but it looks like he has been playing well lately.

There might be a good team out there right now who sees his contract situation and wants to take advantage of it. The Bears, if they can make it happen, would be very wise to add some future assets for him.

As mentioned before, the Chicago Bears eventually have to start keeping their good players and trying to win with them. Here in 2023, however, the season is already lost so they might as well keep building up for the future.
