3 Blackhawks veterans that are helping the most right now
3. Taylor Hall
Taylor Hall is going to help the Chicago Blackhawks in literally every way.
One of Foligno’s teammates with the Bruins, Taylor Hall, also made his way over the the Chicago Blackhawks. Like Perry, he is also a former Hart Trophy winner as league MVP. This is a well-decorated player who knows a thing or two about dealing with pressure.
Hall, like Bedard, was also a first-overall pick. He somewhat knows what Bedard is going through as he’s been in a similar position. Now, Hall became a great player and he was a great first overall pick but the hype wasn’t close to what it is for Connor.
Yes, Hall is a great veteran for Bedard to have in terms of leadership but he is also great for him with his on-ice development. Playing on his wing, they have already found good chemistry together.
These two are going to have a lot of points this season. Some days, Hall might be more of the goal scorer but a lot of Bedard goals will be set up by his elder wingman.
As mentioned before, Hall was a first-overall pick himself. He is also becoming known as the first overall pick good luck charm. He has assisted on the first career goals of Ryan Nugent Hopkins, Nico Hischier, and Jack Hughes before his assist on Bedard’s goal. All of those guys went on to become stars.
Veterans are an important part of an NHL team. These three guys are going to play big roles this year and potentially even longer than that. You can’t underestimate how much good vibes can help a team. These guys are amazing.
