Losers

The Chicago Bears had a few players that didn’t do what they needed to do.

Tyson Bagent isn’t mentioned here because that detail was said when talking about Justin Fields being a winner in the game. Fields is clearly the only good option at quarterback on the roster at this time.

1. Cole Kmet

For the Chicago Bears, Cole Kmet has been a very okay player. He hasn’t really lived up to his draft stock but he has been serviceable for the most part. As of right now, it seems pretty clear that he isn’t going to be a star tight end in the league like people envisioned way back when.

He wasn’t very good in this game on Sunday against the Vikings. Part of that issue comes from the quarterback being hurt and a below-average replacement coming in but he only made two catches for nine yards. No matter what, he has to be upset with that production.

2. D’Onta Foreman

The Chicago Bears are a team that usually has good running backs no matter how bad of a team they are. That is the case this year with Khalil Herbert who is a pretty good player. However, he missed the game on Sunday in Chicago.

That opened up a spot for D’Onta Foreman who led the team in carries with 15. He only managed to have 65 yards on those carries though so he was only getting 4.3 per carry. That is not very good. He is proving that he can’t be the lead guy because that is just not good enough.

The Bears will now stay home for another week as they will host the Las Vegas Raiders in Week Seven. It should be interesting to see how they prepare to play them but this game against the Vikings took all of the wind out of their sails.
