1. Kansas City Chiefs

The Chicago Bears would love to send Chase Claypool to the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Kansas City Chiefs just won the Super Bowl last season. Now, they are defending their title and trying to win their third of the Patrick Mahomes era. It has been a very nice time there lately.

Right now, you can argue that this Chiefs defense is the best that they have had during this run with Mahomes as the quarterback. Obviously, that is a good thing because it should mean they can win it all again.

Well, the one thing ailing this team (although they are still 3-1) is a lack of weapons at wide receiver. They have Travis Kelce who is the best receiving tight end in the league and three pretty good running backs. Beyond that, they need some help with the true WR position.

Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid might be able to help someone like Claypool reach their potential. Obviously, that would be a much better situation for him than Justin Fields and Matt Eberflus who are both terrible. Knowing this is true, the Chiefs may be smart to consider it.

Good teams like the Chiefs sometimes take these players dealing with on-field adversity and help them turn it around. Doing it with someone like Claypool could be the trick for them this season. Unlike other teams, he could walk in there and get a ton of targets right away because of their situation.
