Winners

The Chicago Bears had a couple of players have a strong performance in this one.

1. Justin Fields

You can argue that this game vs. the Denver Broncos was Justin Fields’ best game in the NFL. Coming into the contest, Clemson was the last team that Justin Fields threw over 300 yards against. Finally, he changed that narrative and reached that plateau in this game.

Fields went 28/35 with 335 yards passing. He threw for four touchdowns and had one interception. The pick was a game-losing pick which still keeps the questions about him in place but he was outstanding with his arm.

Fields also rushed the ball four times but he only got 25 yards. Of course, that is far off the stuff we are used to seeing from him after 2022 but that is a lot of total yards for one game. Hopefully, he can start to prove all the doubters wrong and keep this level of play going.

2. Khalil Herbert

Khalil Herbert was a monster for the Bears in this game. He looked like a guy who could be a star running back in this league. Yes, Denver’s defense was bad but this would be an impressive performance against anybody.

Herbert made four receptions for 19 yards which was nice but he also had 18 carries for 103 yards. He didn’t have a touchdown on the ground but one of his receptions was in the endzone for a score. The Bears really wasted an outstanding performance here.

3. DJ Moore

This was DJ Moore’s best game as a Chicago Bears receiver. He was targeted a lot and he made the most of it. He looked like the number one receiver that he was meant to be when they got him in the package for the number one pick in the 2023 draft.

Moore was amazing and it is evident in his stats. He made eight receptions for 131 yards and a touchdown. He helped this offense move the ball as well as anyone. Fields needs him to be this good all the time in order to help him develop. All three of these guys need to continue shining.
