The Chicago Bears are one of the worst teams in the NFL. It is actually disgusting how bad they are considering their history and their importance to the city of Chicago. Every year, there is hope and they just continue to get worse and worse.

It isn’t bad enough that they are on a 13-game losing streak. It isn’t bad enough that they have given up 25 points or more in those 13 straight losses (an NFL record). It isn’t bad enough that Justin Fields is clearly not the guy.

Someone like Chase Claypool has to go to the media and make a bunch of completely foolish comments. These are the types of comments that make him, the team, and the fans look bad. It is truly gross to see him say things like this.

Of course, before we dissect the comments, we are going to mention that acquiring Claypool was one of the worst decisions made in the history of the Chicago Bears. He is truly bad and doesn’t appear to be getting any better. It is also clear that he doesn’t give it his all on the field.

The Chicago Bears don’t need to hear this from Chase Claypool right now.

Is Chase Claypool probably right about not being placed in the right spot? He might be. That may be the case for a lot of the players on this team. We are seeing tons of development being ruined by lousy coaching and management.

However, this kid isn’t all that good. He had a good rookie season and then the Pittsburgh Steelers couldn’t get rid of him fast enough. He was almost healthy scratched in Week 2 because of how clear it was he wasn’t trying in Week 1. He has no business being the guy saying this stuff.

It is time for the Chicago Bears to move on. They’d be better off trading him for a low-tier draft pick. If nobody bites on that offer, they should just cut him. They don’t need guys like this who don’t try and then call out the team for not using him right.

The Bears need players who want to be Bears and fight hard every day. Sometimes, that outweighs talent. Claypool’s comments are not going to go over well and they shouldn’t. He looks foolish here.
