The Chicago Blackhawks have a good player in Jason Dickinson. He is the definition of a bottom-six forward who plays the game the right way. The Blackhawks don’t really need him anymore with Perry and Foligno there but you never know how they line things up.
At some point, you’d think that the Blackhawks move on from Dickinson. It was pretty surprising that they didn’t move him last year but again, that can be said for all of these guys.
The interesting thing about Dickinson, however, is that he is now on an expiring contract. Trading him during training camp with a whole year ahead of him (and his acquiring team) might be a good idea.
All of these guys can provide a lot of good play for different teams across the league. Those teams can also send the Blackhawks good things back that will help them with their future. Although camp is about getting ready for the season, there are these things to think about before the year begins.
