Trevis Gipson is someone that the Chicago Bears will be watching this weekend.

The Chicago Bears are a team looking to get to the quarterback more than they did last year. Part of that will be if they are able to get Trevis Gipson going this season.

Last season, Gipson had 3.0 sacks and 17 tackles in 17 games. Obviously, the Bears will be looking for a bit more than that in 2023.

It was a down year in a lot of ways from his 2021 season in which he was pretty good for the Bears. Obviously, the players around him were much better in 2021 as 2022 was a disaster.

So far, Gipson has played well in the preseason. He will definitely see more time in the regular season if he has a really good preseason finale.

With some of the talent the Bears have added on defense, this is a really good chance for him to show what he’s got. If this game doesn’t go well for him, that won’t be a good look for the former 5th-round pick.
