Players making their final case to make the roster.

This is the final game for players on the roster bubble to audition to be on the 53-man roster.

Daurice Fountain, Dante Pettis, and Isaiah Ford are going to need to play well if they hope to take a roster spot from Equanimeous St. Brown and Velus Jones Jr. at wide receiver.

Trevis Gipson and Rasheem Green are battling it out for the final edge rusher spot. Gipson played great in the first preseason game but was unimpressive against the Colts. So, he needs to play a similar game as he did against the Titans to solidify his spot on the roster.

Rookie defensive tackle Travis Bell has had some moments this preseason. Bell is one of the Chicago Bears’ two seventh-round picks this year and is probably destined for the practice squad. If he has an impressive game, he could sneak onto the roster.

Undrafted rookie free agent Micah Baskerville has been great in the preseason. He could be this training camp’s version of Jack Sanborn who came out of nowhere last year to make the 53-man roster.

Josh Blackwell, Michael Ojemudia, Kindle Vildor, and Greg Stroman Jr. are battling it out for the final cornerback spot on the roster. Blackwell has been battling injuries during camp but has shown he can contribute on special teams. Ojemudia has looked good in coverage. Stroman Jr. has shown in his brief appearances last year he can take the ball away and play special teams.

Vildor has fallen from starter to probably being cut, so he will need to make a ton of plays to keep his spot on the roster.

This is the dress rehearsal for the regular season. Hopefully, we get a good preview.
