2. Tyson Bagent

The Chicago Bears should keep Tyson Bagent on this team as the backup.

This is something that is probably not going to happen but Tyson Bagent should be the backup quarterback for the Chicago Bears in 2023.

He has been the second-best quarterback on the team during the preseason and that should mean something.

PJ Walker has not been good at all so why have a preseason if you are going to take the player playing poorly over the one that is playing well?

Tyson Bagent was an undrafted free agent out of Shepherd and he deserves to be the guy in every way.

When the Bears signed Walker, they didn’t anticipate him playing badly in the preseason while Bagent goes off. Sometimes football is funny that way.

The Bears need to be smart with this move. With the way that Justin Fields plays the game, the backup position is very important here.
