The Chicago Bears may have a valuable asset to trade for Jonathan Taylor.

The Chicago Bears have been seeing some impressive things from rookie Roschon Johnson. He was a fourth-round pick out of Texas but he would have been a much higher pick if he wasn’t the backup in college behind one of the best in the country.

The Bears might have gotten a steal with that pick but they could move him if it meant a move to get Jonathan Taylor who might be the best running back in the NFL.

Throwing in a seventh-round pick makes sense but the real prize for Indy in this move is Johnson. For obvious reasons, this would be a very risky trade for both sides.

Jonathan Taylor’s addition to the Bears would be exciting but at the end of the day, none of these trades would be necessary.

Between Johnson and Herbert, the Bears have that part of their offense covered for now (we think). They don’t need to go out there and move all of these great assets to land a running back. It isn’t as important of a long-term position anymore.
