The Chicago Bears have a very exciting season ahead. It is hard to predict their record because they were the worst team in the league last season but have made tons of improvements to go with a division that got weaker.

Everything that this team does this year (and hopefully for the next few years) revolves around the development of Justin Fields. With that said, a good team is needed around him as well.

On Tuesday, the Chicago Bears released an unofficial depth chart for people to see. It has all of the names you know and love and it also has a few folks fighting for jobs on it.

It should be very interesting to see what becomes of this group by the time the regular season starts.

There are going to be some surprising players that make the team but a few surprise cuts. These are three players that could get cut from this unofficial depth chart sooner than later:

1. Tyson Bagent

The Chicago Bears won’t carry four quarterbacks on their roster in 2023.

The Chicago Bears listed four quarterbacks on their depth chart to kick things off. Of course, Justin Fields is going to be the team’s starter and there really is no debate about that.

PJ Walker is expected to be the backup and Nathan Peterman is the third string. That leaves the current fourth guy, Tyson Bagent.

Bagent played his college football at Shepherd before being an undrafted free agent signed by the Bears.

To be honest, he is probably the person on the current unofficial depth chart that has the longest shot of making the team.

If they are going to make some cuts before the first preseason game this week, he is someone to let go of.
