Chicago Bears: 3 things Justin Fields can do to win MVP
3. Make others better
If Justin Fields can make others around him better, the Chicago Bears can win.
MVP-caliber players make others around them better. Patrick Mahomes, Jalen Hurts, Joe Burrow, Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, or Josh Allen all have (or had) guys that enjoy having them as their quarterbacks because they make them better.
Justin Fields has yet to do that in his short NFL. He has made himself better and been a joy to watch but now it is time to make others look good.
He has, as mentioned before, a much better group of weapons with him now. DJ Moore, Chase Claypool, and Darnell Mooney could form a great trio of receivers this year.
With Cole Kmet as the tight end and a few solid running backs, they might be able to score some points if Justin does his thing. Making these guys better will mean they have a ton of points on the board which will lead to wins.
If Justin Fields is in the MVP conversation, it will mean the Bears are in the playoff conversation which is what Bears fans want. This isn’t about individual awards but the quarterback playing well is a must in order to turn into a Super Bowl team.
