2. Win more games

Justin Fields needs to lead the Chicago Bears to more wins this season.

The Chicago Bears were one of the worst teams in the NFL last season. They had the number one pick in the draft before trading it away which means they were truly awful.

A case could be made that they were the worst team in the NFL. Although it was mostly by design, Fields has to take some blame for that.

He had a good year on the ground but he didn’t take a step as a winner. He is 5-20 in his NFL career which is not the stuff of an MVP. The guys that win that award lead their teams to division titles.

If Fields wants to start becoming an MVP-caliber player, he needs to win more games. He can have all of the fancy stats and amazing highlight reels that he wants but none of it will matter unless he becomes a winner.

If Fields can win enough games with the Chicago Bears this year, you will start to hear his name in these MVP conversations as long as he plays well and the stats prove it.
