Trade Three

David Bednar would be a great closer for the Chicago Cubs right now.

The Chicago Cubs don’t have to make a move for a closer. However, getting a good one could really help them go far in the National League.

Alexander Canario, the first prospect on this proposal, is a very good player. He is an outfielder currently playing in AAA.

With all of the outfielders ahead of him at the MLB level and prospect level, a change could be made with Canario.

Canario was also given to the Cubs by the Giants in the Kris Bryant trade. Of course, he’d like to see it work in the big leagues for himself but he has some more developing to do.

Kohl Franklin and Drew Grey have both been added as depth pieces. Franklin is a righty and Grey is a lefty. Both of them are baseball lottery tickets that they are hoping to hit the jackpot if they are traded.

Some of these prospects would be tough to see go but that is the business of winning sometimes in Major League Baseball. For a stud closer like Bednar, this could be worth it.
