3 trades the Brewers could offer Chicago White Sox for Eloy Jimenez

The issues with making a deal.
The problem is the Brewers want to be responsible at the deadline. They might not be willing to pay the price that other teams have been willing to pay Hahn.
Rick Hahn got the Los Angeles Angels second and third-best prospects for Giolito. The Sox got the Los Angeles Dodgers’ ninth-best prospect plus another pitcher who can help the bullpen someday for Lynn. The player the Sox got back for Kendall Graveman is now the 13th-best prospect in the team’s farm system.
Pitching always has a little bit more value than a bat. Still, Hahn should look to get similar value back, especially if he is willing to trade a player he has reportedly deemed untouchable.
That might be a price the Brewers will not want to pay. Milwaukee does not like to do full-blown rebuilds and their top five prospects project to be cornerstone players down the road.
Also, Eloy is injury prone. He has only played in over 100 games just one time during his five-year career. That is one reason Baseballtradevalues.com has him as a player value as a negative.
The Brew Crew are a small market team that cannot afford to give up premium prospects for a player who might spend a lot of time on the IL.
In addition, Jimenez is limited in what he can do in the field. He was horrible in left field. Although, he has been okay in right field. Then again, the Crew’s production from the designated hitter is awful.
Also, the Brewers are a much better-run organization than the Sox, so maybe they could do a better job of keeping Eloy on the field.
His slash line of .285/.330/.477 would immediately make him one of the best hitters on the Brewers.
He might be appealing to the Brewers because he is also under team control through 2027 at a very affordable price.
