Trade Two

The Chicago Cubs would have to unload their farm to land Shohei Ohtani.

The Chicago Cubs would have to give up a nice combination of MLB players and prospects in order to get someone like Shohei Ohtani.

Ian Happ and Christopher Morel are both players that are MLB caliber and can step in for the Angels right now. They are also under some control for a few years which makes them valuable.

As mentioned before, Pete-Crow Armstrong is the number one prospect in the organization and number seven in all of baseball so there is clearly value there.

Matt Mervis and Brennen Davis are both guys who have fallen in the rankings a little bit but are both still incredibly talented. Each of them could use a fresh start in a new organization as they strive for their dream of playing Major League Baseball.

This could be a risky trade for the Angels but it could also bring them tons of forutne as five really good players are going back to Anaheim in this deal.
