The Chicago Bears are a team looking to make some noise. They are not planning on winning the Super Bowl or anything like that this season but they’d like to be better than the worst team in the league.

The offense is going to (hopefully) take some big steps. The development of Justin Fields is the most important thing to the entire Chicago Bears organization right now.

He will have an easier time this year because there will be some better weapons at his disposal from the beginning in addition to some more protection.

More help is still out there in free agency with training camp about to start. The Chicago Bears should consider adding one (or more) of these players to their offense:

1. Dalvin Cook

The Chicago Bears could still use some help with their running game in 2023.

The Chicago Bears are in a wild spot with their running game right now. They don’t have David Montgomery anymore as he left in free agency. Now, they have to rely on some other players.

As of right now, D’Onta Foreman is the running back that they will lead with and Khalil Herbert is the second guy. Obviously, they have some faith in those guys but they should be looking to upgrade.

Someone like Dalvin Cook would be a major upgrade. The NFL has a running back problem because he was cut even though most people would rank him as a top 10 guy right now.

The Bears should be the team that takes advantage of this flaw in the NFL. Adding a back like Cook would help the offense take a big step. It would also help Justin Fields take fewer hits running the ball himself.
