The Chicago Blackhawks can still add another really good forward in free agency.
The Chicago Blackhawks may want to use one of Taylor Raddysh or Lukas Reichel as the top-line right wing.
However, if they want to spread the wealth a little bit while making sure two solid veterans are on Bedard’s wing, Tomas Tatar could be a great option.
Last season with the New Jersey Devils, Tatar had a solid 20-goal season. He showed that he could play in the top six with centers like Jack Hughes and Nico Hischier or he could be in a bottom six role. Either way, he is valuable.
Even if the Hawks signed Tatar and didn’t play him with Bedard, he could help in the middle-six and on the second power-play unit as a goal-scoring threat. This is a move that would be a great idea for the Blackhawks if Tatar was in for it.
All three of these players would be good additions to a Blackhawks team trying to improve season over season. With Connor Bedard in the mix now, anything is possible.
