The Chicago Blackhawks may not need to give much for John Gibson.

The Chicago Blackhawks could go for John Gibson if they want to add another goaltender. It might not take much if the Ducks are shopping him around.

A third-round pick in the future might be enough to get it done for the Hawks. That might even be an overpayment for some people but the Hawks would be getting a really good goalie in terms of talent.

He would certainly be able to help some of the younger goalies that the Hawks have in their system right now.

The Hawks have a top-tier farm system right now so losing a third-round pick might not be the worst thing for them.

Having enough time to develop the goalies on the farm is enough of a reason to get Gibson in the mix for a while.

It is clear that he needs a change of scenery and Chicago is becoming one of those types of places that can help people thanks to Bedard.
