2. Tomas Tatar

Tomas Tatar makes so much sense for the Chicago Blackhawks in 2022-23.

Last year, Tomas Tatar was like the seventh option when it came to goal scorers on the New Jersey Devils. He did show, however, that he can still be on the wing with an elite center like Jack Hughes or Nico Hischier.

He managed to have 20 goals which would have tied for the team lead in Chicago so he can still clearly put the puck in the net. Chicago should consider him.

Based on his showing last year with the two-star centers in Jersey, it is obvious that he’d be able to skate with Bedard. An opportunity like that would be great for him at this point if his career.

Experience might be something that Chicago is looking for as well. Tatar has played in a couple of Stanley Cup Finals so he knows what it takes to win. He can show that attitude to a lot of young players in the league.

Tatar, for a winger, is also a very good player in his own end. Having someone like that with Bedard would be nice of course. Not everybody that signs is going to have a chance to play with Bedard but Tatar might be a great fit for him with all of the attributes he has.
