The final ten picks will bleed some first-round talent into the second round.

The 2023 NHL Draft is going to be insane. There is so much talent coming out this year that tons of high-end prospects are going to be selected in the second round.

There are a lot of moving parts in this portion of the draft every year so you can expect more trades. Literally, pick 31 was moved twice and the most recent one came on Monday.

One prospect to keep an extra close eye on this year is Gavin Brindley. The University of Michigan forward may fall into this portion of the draft and plenty of teams are going to regret that down the line. He has insane talent and should be a star in the National Hockey League.

Of course, this mock draft is mostly going to be off. There are lots of other minds that will go into the outcome of the 32 selections made this year so it is impossible to predict. Hopefully, all of these young men find amazing careers in whatever city they are fortunate to join.
