The Chicago Bulls could execute a monster deal with the Brooklyn Nets

One of the teams that has not been shy about making deals over the past few years is the Brooklyn Nets. The Ben Simmons trade certainly backfired, and who knows if he’ll ever be the same guy he once was again. Nonetheless, the Nets could opt and try to get another star to build around and sell some tickets.

The Bulls have been rumored to want multiple first-round picks for LaVine, or an established player and a first-round pick. But, what if the Bulls went all-out and opted for a trade like this?

This would be the first step into admitting another rebuild was indeed happening, but the Bulls would get a young, defensive wing in Mikal Bridges who does a lot of things well. They would also get the no. 21 overall pick in this year’s draft, plus a first rounder in 2027.

It isn’t enough to truly rebuild right away, but the Bulls would be on their way. Meanwhile, the Nets get LaVine and Patrick Williams, who gets a fresh start in Brooklyn and a chance to prove he was worthy of the no. 4 overall selection just two years ago.
