The Chicago Bears’ rivalry with the Green Bay Packers will look very different during the 2023 NFL season as future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers is no longer with the Packers and will be starting games with the New York Jets.

There is no doubt that Rodgers has become a polarizing figure, but his ability to trash talk was never questioned during his time as the Packers’ quarterback. Admit it. When Rodgers, faced with a sea of Bears fans paying their less-than-desirable respects, boasted “I Still Own You” after scoring a pivotal fourth-quarter touchdown in their 2021 contest at Soldier Field, you couldn’t hate.

That energy will be missed moving forward in the Bears’ rivalry with the Packers. There have been questions as to how ready Jordan Love will be when it comes to replacing Rodgers and on Sunday, Father’s Day, Love had his first attempt to prove he learned from Rodgers and he might have missed the opportunity.

That was a tough watch. Just about as tough as it clearly was for Love to put that troll attempt together as you could tell that the quarterback was aware of the botch.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love makes a hilarious gaffe in an attempted troll of the Chicago Bears.

Let’s share some Father’s Day etiquette. Typically, a father does not wish their child a “Happy Father’s Day”. That salutation is for a child to a father. So by sharing his lovely Father’s Day message on Sunday, Love is admitting that the Bears are his father.

This isn’t just Bears’ fan wishful thinking either. Bears’ safety Jaquan Brisker confirmed what we all knew.

The Packers are in trouble. If Jordan Love spent three seasons behind Rodgers on the Packers’ quarterback depth chart and can’t even string together a successful troll of the Bears, then the on-the-field result is going to look just as bad.
