Bold Prediction Number 1: The Chicago Bears will finish above .500

Last year could not have gone much worse for the Bears, but this season is going to be a drastic improvement. The current over/under for the Bears has been set at 7.5 games for a while now, this offseason, and they are going to win at least nine.

That means they’re going to triple their win total from a year ago, becoming one of the league’s most-improved teams in a matter of just one offseason.

This coming year will be a testament to what Ryan Poles was able to accomplish in his first two offseasons with the team, stripping the roster down completely and rebuilding it in a hurry.

Justin Fields entering Year 3 as a pro and Year 2 in Luke Getsy’s offense is going to be a big part of this improvement, but the supporting cast will prove to be an enormous lift for the offense. The protection and weapons are better in every possible way.

Not to mention, the Bears’ defense is vastly improved. This team is going to go 9-8 this coming season, and the future will look oh, so bright.
