Anders Bjork could be someone the Chicago Blackhawks trade away.

Anders Bjork is a nice young player that can be a complement in the bottom six. He hasn’t really gotten a fair shake anywhere he has been and Chicago has been no different.

They might extend him knowing they are going to be bad for a few more years but they also could trade his negotiating rights as an RFA.

Bjork had two goals and six assists for 8 points in 14 NHL games played this year. If he could keep up that kind of production on someone’s fourth line, he can be considered a very valuable player.

As a player still relatively young, teams might buy on him. With the way he played down the stretch, he has certainly earned another opportunity.

The Hawks might not get anything too special for an RFA like this but they might as well try to get something. Even if they managed to get a seventh-round pick or something, they’d feel good about that deal.
