Chicago Bulls Rumors: 5 bold trades to acquire a 2023 first-round pick

Trade Number 4: The Chicago Bulls trade Patrick Williams to the Oklahoma City Thunder
The Oklahoma City Thunder are going to be a team to watch in the near future for many reasons. First of all, they have an extremely young core with a whole lot of potential. Chet Holmgren hasn’t even played yet, and this team looked like an exciting team of the future this past season.
The other reason Oklahoma City will be a team to watch? They have a boat load of picks over the next several years, and only so many roster spots. Because Sam Presti has used his picks wisely, thus far, he’s been able to build a nice, young group of players to build upon. Going forward, though, he could use some extra draft capital to trade for more established players and added depth.
The Thunder already have a solid starting forward in last year’s rookie Jalen Williams, but from Oklahoma City’s perspective, their depth at the position would be absolutely astounding if they landed a player like Patrick Williams.
Thunder fans could only imagine the potential of this front court, going forward, with adding Williams to the fold.
Meanwhile, Chicago gets a couple of picks in this year’s draft en route to yet another rebuild.
