Since Ryan Poles took over the Chicago Bears as general manager in 2022, this roster has seen some monumental changes.

The Bears have gone from being an aging defense and almost non-existent offense to now seeing some balance and youth on both sides as they go into Poles’ second regular season at the helm. It’s quite remarkable what Poles and his team have been able to do in such a short time, but the vision was always clear.

2022 was going to be rough. Sure enough, it was. Ending with the first overall pick in the draft, though, wasn’t as much of a red check mark against what Poles had fail to accomplish as it was a golden opportunity.

Poles took that golden opportunity and turned it into a franchise wide receiver, plus a boat load of draft capital. Now, the Bears head into the 2023 campaign as one of the most improved teams in football. But, the job isn’t done, and it’s going to be interesting to see what happens in 2024.

The Chicago Bears’ roster is going to look even more different throughout the 2024 offseason

Right now, there are plenty of positions which are solidified for the future of this franchise. Right away, quarterback and linebacker come to mind. But, there are others such as cornerback, offensive tackle and safety which are looking bright.

Going forward, though, the Bears will continue to see positions in flux in preparation for a bigger, clearer vision of their future. There will even be some younger players to get the boot sooner than we might think, as the team will head into another crucial offseason next spring.

It might seem a little soon, but looking ahead, we’ve come up with 10 different names who likely won’t be on the Bears roster come next season.
