The Chicago White Sox season has not exactly been going well.

They have been under .500 for all but six games. Shockingly, the Sox are still in the AL Central division race because of how bad it is.

The White Sox are playing better baseball lately. They recently swept the Detroit Tigers and took two of three from the New York Yankees before beating the Miami Marlins on Friday night.

Voting for the All-Star Game is in full swing right now. Despite not having a winning record, the Chicago White Sox have a couple of players who are worthy of getting invited to the All-Star event on July 11th in Seattle.

The Chicago White Sox have some players that should be 2023 MLB All-Stars.

Luis Robert Jr. is a clear All-Star.

Robert Jr. currently slugging .521 with 14 home runs. Luis Robert Jr. currently has a .843 OPS. He has a wRC+ of 129 and is a 2.2 fWAR player. He hit .310 in May and is currently hitting .318 this month. Robert Jr. also pounded eight home runs last month.

He also has a .994 fielding percentage. As long as Luis stays healthy, he should earn his first All-Star Game appearance.

Jake Burger is making a case for an All-Star spot.

Burger has been the Chicago White Sox’ most consistent hitter. He has an eye-popping .614 slugging percentage. He owns a .928 OPS and has smashed 13 home runs. His wRC+ is 149 and he is a 1.9 fWAR player.

Burger has had trouble getting consistent playing time. One reason is that he struggles to hit on the road. His road slash line is .161/.209/.323 with just two home runs. Although, he just mashed a dinger at Yankee Stadium and the offense performs better when he is in the lineup.

If he keeps hitting at this pace, Burger will earn the right to be ordered up (pun intended) to the All-Star Game.
