The Chicago Blackhawks, as you know by now, were the lucky team to win the Connor Bedard sweepstakes. That is a move that is going to be amazing for them and their future.

Well, the NHL combine is set to begin this weekend and Connor Bedard is going to be there. It is a chance for him and all the other prospects to do some tests in front of NHL teams.

It really won’t make that big of a deal for a kid like Bedard because he is going to be the number-one pick no matter what. His ability to jump, run, or ride a bike does not indicate his incredible ability to play hockey.

He is one of the three best prospects in the history of the sport so this won’t affect him at all. However, it does seem as if he wants to look bad at this event.

The Chicago Blackhawks are lucky to be getting Connor Bedard this year.

On Friday, he was seen preparing for certain events at the combine. A few pictures and videos of him came out of him getting ready for the V02 max test.

It is obvious that Connor Bedard is completely jacked. This kid looks like he has a body ready to compete in the NHL despite being a teenager. That is usually an issue with some of these kids but not Bedard. This is part of what makes him different.

Of course, Connor Bedard possesses a shot and ability to pass that is elite. Those things aren’t really impacted by your strength. However, the strength may help him get the most out of those skills.

He isn’t even in an NHL training program and he doesn’t have a fully grown man’s body yet and he is already this fit/jacked. That is enough to excite everyone in Blackhawks land.

We don’t really know if Bedard is going to play wing or center in the NHL. Based on the muscle makeup that he has though, it seems as if he might be strong enough to play center one day. That would certainly add to his value.

Most elite prospects still have some man muscle to put on. That is still the case for Bedard but it is clear that he is above his peers in that department. It will be fun to see his strength help him out during his rookie season.
