Trade Number 3: The Chicago Bulls send DeMar DeRozan to the Magic

Finally, we come to the big one. The Bulls could try and pull off a trade where they’d send DeMar DeRozan to the Magic. DeRozan’s name has come up in early offseason trade rumors, where the Bulls might just end up building around Zach LaVine as their number one guy. Of course, most Bulls fans would agree that this is a bad decision.

But, here we are.

In this deal, the Bulls would net Suggs, guard Gary Harris and forward Chuma Okeke — all of whom are former first-round picks. The Bulls would again get their own pick back, coming in at no. 11 in this year’s draft.

Chicago’s core would feature plenty more youth between these three, and give Karnisovas and company some more options to work with going forward. It would definitely represent more of a retool than a rebuild, but whether or not more moves were made after one like this would truly answer that question.
