Trade Number 2: The Chicago Bulls net Jalen Suggs for Alex Caruso

Let’s explore the previous deal a little more, just without the big men. What if the Bulls sent their All NBA selection to Orlando in exchange for Suggs and a first-round pick?

The Magic keep Carter, who has really broken out for them over the last couple of seasons. Meanwhile, they trade a player in Suggs who has been misused and looked out of place at times within what Orlando has tried to do. The Bulls could give him a fresh start and he might just become a big part of what Chicago is going to do down the line.

Caruso, again, would instill even more of a defensive mindset into this Magic team that finished 12th in steals last season, along with finishing 15th in blocks. Caruso’s arrival could launch Orlando into the top 10 in both of those categories next season.

The Bulls would send Orlando a second rounder, while netting their own pick back in exchange as well. Caruso has become that valuable, that the Magic would have to pay up to get him, especially considering how affordable he is.
