Ranking the top 5 quarterbacks on Chicago Bears 2023 schedule: No. 3, Kirk Cousins

Kirk Cousins has been one of the most polarizing quarterbacks in football for a while now, but the truth of the matter is, he’s one of the better quarterbacks in football. Minnesota Vikings fans can poke fun at him all they want, and nitpick his game left and right, but he’s been statistically one of the best passers in the league for a few years.

In 11 games against the Bears over his NFL career, Cousins is 7-4. But, let’s focus on the most recent years. Cousins has won four-straight against Chicago, throwing for 858 yards, seven touchdowns and just two interceptions.

The Bears have been able to sack Cousins eight times between those four games.

Last season with the Vikings, Cousins threw for over 4,500 yards, 29 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. For a Minnesota team that has seemed to be looking for a different future at the quarterback position, this year might be an audition for Cousins to find himself a job elsewhere after the 2023 campaign.

For the Bears, it’s about time they put a damper on Cousins’ game. Chicago takes on Cousins in Week 6 at home, followed later by a road matchup in Minnesota in Week 12.
