Weeks five and six could make or break the Chicago Bears 2023 season.

Week 5 – @ Washington Commanders

This is the first night game of the Chicago Bears season. It is also their first Thursday Night Football Game and it will be seen on Amazon Prime TV. Lots of eyeballs will be on this one against the Washington Commanders.

Washington has had lots of success vs Chicago in recent years and it is time to break that mold. Someone we’ve never heard of before might start at quarterback for them and they should end up being the last-place team in the NFC East.

This one could be a trap game for the Bears but they need to find a way to end that narrative about losing to Washington. They will do it here.

Prediction: Bears Win (4-1)

Week 6 – vs Minnesota Vikings

The Chicago Bears vs Minnesota Vikings matchups are the hardest in the book to figure out this year. The Vikings were a great regular-season team last year as they constantly found a way to win. This year, a step-back is expected because of how narrowly they won some of those games.

They will still be a good team this year and the Bears are going to lose some games. At 4-1 coming in, this feels like a letdown game at home. The Vikings prevail in this one.

Prediction: Bears Lose (4-2)
