The Chicago Bears will start to see things heat up at this point of the season.

Week 3 – @ Kansas City Chiefs

The Chicago Bears will go into Arrowhead Stadium 2-0 and feeling good about themselves. They will believe that they can beat the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs.

They will be wrong. The Chiefs still have Patrick Mahomes and he makes them the favorite in every game that they play. That is especially true when Travis Kelce is the best of his elite group of weapons.

This will be a good measuring stick for the Bears and one that can make them feel like they belong but it is unlikely that they prevail in the end.

Prediction: Bears Lose (2-1)

Week 4 – vs Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos were the most disappointing team in the NFL last season. In 2021, they had a good roster but couldn’t win because they didn’t add a quarterback.

So when they added Russel Wilson to the mix, they felt like they might take a big step like when the Los Angeles Rams added Matthew Stafford. That didn’t happen.

They will certainly be better this year after making a coaching change by adding Sean Payton. However, the Bears will be coming off a tough but close loss to the Chiefs and will bring that swagger with them home where they will prevail vs Denver.

Prediction: Bears Win (3-1)
