The Chicago Bears have had a very busy off-season. After trading away the number one overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, they have done a lot of things that make the team better.

They have made some free-agent signings and good draft picks which will both allow the team to be better instantly.

They aren’t going to be a Super Bowl contender by any means but with some of these additions and the development of Justin Fields, they might be able to win significantly more football games in 2023. It will at a minimum be a more exciting football team to watch.

A few weeks ago, the schedule came out so we can see who every team is playing at what point of the season. We knew the opponents but now that they are matched to dates/weeks we can sort of look through it and predict how the Bears are going to do.

The Chicago Bears’ 2023 schedule is one that may be good for them right away.

This is the definition of a last-place schedule. Obviously, they play the three other teams in their division (Green Bay Packers, Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings)  twice and then the other NFC teams that came in last place last year.

They also have the AFC West and NFC South divisions as a whole. Their extra game against an AFC team that came in the same place as them is the Cleveland Browns. Outside of some of those AFC West teams, this is a schedule that this up-and-coming Bears team can do well with.

This is a prediction for every game that the Bears will play on their 2023 slate:
