3. Miles Mastrobuoni

The Chicago Cubs should be a team that doesn’t have Miles Mastrobuoni.

The Chicago Cubs have Miles Mastrobuoni on their roster. He is 27 years old and has split his time with the Tampa Bay Rays and Chicago Cubs over the last two years, his only in Major League Baseball.

He is not someone that should be on the roster for much longer. There should be no world where he is on the roster come July first.

Miles can play on the infield and in the outfield which is nice but he just isn’t that good at it. He also isn’t a good hitter which is why his WAR is negative despite the limited action.

There is just no reason to keep him on the roster. There are players in Iowa that deserve the chance more.

It isn’t fun to be bad enough to be talking about cutting players but that is where the Cubs are at right now. We’ll see what is decided.
