3. Jason Dickinson

Jason Dickinson is someone the Chicago Blackhawks should want to trade.

Let’s make something very clear, the Chicago Blackhawks are going to be almost as bad again next year. Connor Bedard could have 100 points and they would still struggle because of the fact that the team stinks so badly around him right now.

Because of that, there is no reason to keep Jason Dickinson around. He is a solid fourth-line player that can help any contender out but the Hawks should be giving that ice to somebody else.

Dickinson has one more year on his deal at 2.65 million. That might be a bit much but the Hawks might be able to move him if another team is desperate for some depth on their fourth line. We’ve seen in these 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs how valuable that type of player can be.

If they were about to be an elite team, they’d keep him as their fourth-line centerman (or winger) but they are not. Because of that, all of these guys are options to trade.
