Blackhawks Draft: 3 defenseman to consider with the 19th overall pick

3. David Reinbacher

David Reinbacher must be the pick if he is there at pick 19 for the Blackhawks.

You probably have to trade up if you’re the Chicago Blackhawks and want to take Axel Sandin Pellikka. That might also be the case for David Reinbacher but you might not need to trade up as high.

He is, in the eyes of most people, the second-best defenseman at this point in time. If he is there for the Chicago Blackhawks to select with pick number 19, they need to jump all over it.

Reinbacher hails from Austria where he learned to become a great hockey player on the back end. He has played in Switzerland for most of his developmental years outside of representing Austria in international play.

Now, he is looking to get drafted into the NHL so he can become a great player in the best league in the world. This will be a home run selection for anyone who gets him.

If the Chicago Blackhawks ended up with any of these three at pick 19, they’d be thrilled. This isn’t the strongest class in terms of defenseman but they could be one of the teams that gets a good one if they want.
