Chicago Bulls Rumors: 3 DeMar DeRozan trades to consider this offseason

Trade Number 3: The Chicago Bulls send DeRozan to the Dallas Mavericks
Last year’s trade for Kyrie Irving backfired in a big way for the Dallas Mavericks.
Who would have seen that coming (chuckles)?
The Mavericks can try again to land themselves a running mate for Luka Doncic, so that the superstar doesn’t feel like he’s doing all of the heavy lifting night-in and night-out. DeRozan would be a great sidekick to take some of the pressure off.
Financially, a deal like this adds up. The Bulls get swing man Tim Hardaway Jr. along with young guard Josh Green.
Green is a former first-round pick back in 2021 out of Arizona and would bring some excellent three-point shooting to this bench. He’s only 22 years old and could have a lengthy future in Chicago, still, as a valuable piece of the rotation.
Hardaway, meanwhile, is your typical 3-and-D type of player who has a couple of years left on his deal.
The key takeaway, here, is that the Bulls are getting a pair of first-round picks. Ideally, for Dallas, those picks would be later due to some high finishes for the Mavericks. Like the previous two teams, Dallas is going all-in on a championship with a move like this.
